We had a beautiful walk on the Guy Fleming trail of the Torrey Pines reserve yesterday. Hope you like the photos. The inadvertant video is of the yellow-flowered tree in my backyard at 7 AM with the moon in the background.
After the walk, we went to a Thai restaurant near by. For the first time in a long time, I did not order curry. I ordered a salad with tofu! I love all the curries - red, green, yellow, and panang. But I was in the mood for salad. Luckily, the princes both ordered panang curry and the king ordered eggplant (not curry), and I sampled their dishes. When we came home I collapsed. It was a very long day!

I suppose I'll actually have to cook tonight. Maybe I'll make those vegan chickpea cutlets I've been meaning to try. And I have to try making the pita breads again. I could serve it with falafel sauce. And a veggie. How about swiss chard??? I know, I'm fantasizing again. Come back tomorrow and I'll tell you what I really made.
